What Happens When You Call
You Call or Text
Tell Eric what's going on. Year, make, model, and what the car is doing (or not doing). He'll ask a couple of quick questions and give you a flat-rate quote on the spot.
Confirm the Job
If the price works for you, Eric locks in a time. Depending on the job, he'll ask for an $80 booking deposit or a 50% deposit if he's sourcing parts — both come off your final bill.
Eric Comes to You
Home, workplace, parking lot, roadside — wherever the car is. He picks up any needed parts on the way.
Job Done, You Pay
Eric finishes the repair and you pay the remaining balance on completion. No surprises. Payment by Square, Zelle, Cash App, or cash.
Is Your Location Covered?
Extended coverage: Eric travels up to 2 hours from Fredericksburg for the right job. Travel outside the local area is $120/hour with a 1-hour minimum — always quoted upfront.

Do you give free estimates?
Yes — over the phone on most jobs. Eric will quote you a flat rate based on the job. The quote isn't always final until he sees the vehicle in person, but it'll be close, and he tells you if anything changes before doing extra work.
Do I need to be home when you come?
For most jobs, yes — Eric needs access to the vehicle. If you need to arrange a key handoff or specific access, just mention it when you book.
What if the job turns out to be more complicated than expected?
Eric tells you before doing anything extra. If the job scope changes, you hear the updated price first. No surprises on the invoice.
How do I pay?
Square (card), Zelle, Cash App, or cash. Payment is collected on completion of the job.
What if you can't fix it mobile?
Eric will tell you on the phone if he thinks it's likely a shop job — before you pay anything. Some jobs he won't know until he's on-site. If that happens, he'll let you know and won't charge you for a visit he can't complete.
Do you offer a warranty?
On parts Eric supplies: 1-week warranty. If you supply your own parts, the warranty doesn't apply. Either way, Eric stands behind his labor — if something's wrong with the work, call him.
What's the emergency fee for?
